We sit at the centre of Papercup in a mixed team of People, Recruitment, Finance, Strategy, and Operations. We are fully cross-functional and work across most teams in Papercup while facing off with the leadership team.
Our roles and responsibilities are varied across our functions; this means we have to be experts in our field. Each team drives its own OKRs that feed directly across all teams at Papercup to help everyone reach their goals.
We are focused on building the foundations of Papercups vision, mission, and values, the pillars of our core identity, alongside supporting the strategic direction of Papercup from Series A and beyond!

Our people team consists of People Business Partnering, People Experience & Operations and Workplace Experience.

The talent team is responsible for ensuring we have the best people on board to solve the most cutting-edge challenges. This includes headcount and resource planning as well as identifying, attracting, and selecting candidates for positions at Papercup**.**
We develop interview processes, develop hiring strategies, lead employment branding initiatives (like this document you are in right now!), and ensure that every candidate we meet has a positive interview experience.

These roles have a range of high-impact responsibilities. We are responsible for companywide strategic and operational planning, including cross-functional goal setting and organisational performance.
We manage all internal business operations - general legal, compliance, IP, and risk management and lead organizational design and new capability/function set-up.

Aside from being good at Excel, the finance team has full accountability for all of our financial accounting records and ensures all reporting requirements are met. We manage Papercups option schemes and valuations, are involved in fundraising activities and grants and advise on how we help prioritise spend.
